Creativity and Chaos

This place seems like it could really work, and be fun, but I'm not sure it is set up the best it could be to actually get people seeing and interacting with each other.
Spending time i don't have searching through discussions that end up not being used for nearly a year or checking out each and every blog here to see if it's something I want to follow....
I have a busy daily grind and only so much time for social media.
However, I am also an author looking to reach more readers, and reviewers. I want to be accessible and interactive. How much time do I allocate to see if a new site is worth allocating time to?

Right now, I feel I am typing to myself so what next?
